Are the Ca'Pietra Oasis Ceramic tiles suitable for floors?

No. The Oasis collection is manufactured specifically for interior wall applications. The ceramic body and highly reflective gloss finish do not possess the necessary structural strength or slip resistance required for safe use on residential or commercial floors.

Do these Zellige-effect tiles require sealing?

No. This is one of the main advantages of the Oasis collection. While genuine handmade clay tiles are porous and need rigorous sealing, these tiles are made from glazed ceramic. They act as a permanent, non-absorbent barrier against moisture and require absolutely zero specialist sealing either before or after installation.

Can I use the Oasis collection in a shower or wet room?

Absolutely. The non-porous ceramic construction and fired gloss glaze make these tiles completely water-resistant. When installed with an appropriate waterproof adhesive and grout, they provide a stunning, highly practical, and easy-to-clean surface for shower walls and bathroom enclosures.

What layout patterns work best with the 6.5x20cm format?

The classic, elongated brick format provides superb layout flexibility. How do I handle the colour variation during installation?

Because the Oasis tiles deliberately feature shade variations to mimic authentic handmade tiles, we highly recommend that your tiler "dry lays" the tiles first. By opening several boxes and mixing the tiles before fixing them to the wall, you ensure the different tones are distributed evenly and harmoniously across the entire surface.
