This prevents grout pigments and everyday moisture from penetrating the cracks.

Can I use the Ogee Moulding in a shower enclosure?

Yes, but with careful installation. They are perfectly suitable for capping off tiling within shower walls and wet areas, provided they have been meticulously sealed prior to grouting and are installed with a highly water-resistant adhesive and grout. You must maintain the sealant layer over time.

How many pieces do I need to order?

The Arcadian Ogee Mouldings measure 200mm (20cm) in length. Therefore, you will need exactly 5 pieces to cover one linear metre. We always advise ordering an additional 10% to account for cuts, corners, and wastage during installation.

How do I clean and maintain these crackle-glazed trims?

Maintenance requires a gentle approach to protect the delicate glaze. Simply wipe the trim down regularly with a soft cloth and a mild, pH-neutral bathroom or kitchen cleaner. You must absolutely avoid harsh bleach, acidic cleaners, or abrasive scouring pads, as these can strip the protective sealant and permanently damage the crackle glaze.
