A Restrained Way To Finish A Geometric Floor
A narrow running border of rectangles and diamonds, made for the floors that need a perimeter rather than a performance from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
Not every geometric floor wants an elaborate frame. Where the field is already intricate, or where the room is too small to carry a deep border, a simple run of rectangles and diamonds does the necessary job of separating pattern from skirting and then stops.
Because the drawing is restrained, this border takes its character almost entirely from the colours chosen for it. The same shapes can read as crisp and architectural or as soft and domestic depending on which two tones are put into them.

For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

Installation & care
- Setting Out: Set the border out around the full perimeter on the dry-lay first, so any awkward dimension is absorbed where it will be least visible.
- Adhesive & Grout: Fix on flexible cement-based adhesive over a clean, sound base, keeping the grout tone quiet so the border frames the floor without competing.
- Sealing & Cleaning: Unglazed tiles should be sealed once laid and thoroughly dry, then maintained with neutral cleaners and regular sweeping.

Once an order has been placed, goods that are in stock can normally be dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
