Corners, Cleanly Finished: Silver Mirror Bevel Finishing Piece

The Silver Mirror Bevel Finishing Piece comes to you from Hyperion Tiles, part of our mirror glass collection.

This compact bevelled corner piece completes the Silver Mirror Bevel border, resolving returns and edges with the same bright silver mirror and precise chamfer. It keeps reflective schemes looking crisp and considered, right into the corners.

Installation & care

Installation & care

  • Adhesive & Grout: Always fix with a white glass tile adhesive — mirror glass can show a darker adhesive through the tile, so white keeps the reflections clean and bright.
  • Layout Options: Use at the ends and corners of a Silver Mirror Bevel run for a clean, framed finish.
  • Cleaning: The glass surface is non-porous and wipe-clean, ideal for kitchen splashbacks, shower and bathroom walls and other wet areas. Take particular care with the bevelled cut edges during handling.
Samples

Tone, glaze and veining all read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free — sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and we refund it on tile orders over £50 with the code we email you. Our family-run team is happy to check quantities and finishes with you on 01344 620211.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Fired Earth ranges are returned through Fired Earth’s own returns process, and special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

What is this piece for?

This is a finishing and detailing piece rather than a field tile. It is used to close an exposed edge, cap the top of a half-tiled wall, form a border, or turn a corner neatly, so the raw edge of the glass is never left on show.

Using the matching trim from the same range is what makes a tiled wall look properly finished rather than simply stopped.

How many do I need?

Trims and strips are counted by linear length, not by area. Measure the total run you need to finish in metres, divide by the length of one piece, and add around 10% for cuts and for the odd breakage.

If you send us your measurements and a photo or sketch of the wall, we will work the quantity out for you and check you have not missed an external corner or a return.

Does it match the main tile exactly?

It is made to coordinate with its parent range, so the colour and finish are matched as closely as the manufacturing process allows. With hand-finished and antiqued glass there can be a slight difference in tone between a trim and a field tile, and between production batches.

For that reason we always recommend ordering your trims at the same time as your main tiles, from the same batch.

How are these pieces cut and fixed?

Fix with the same white, glass-rated adhesive you are using for the main tiles. Grey adhesive will show through the glass.

Cut with a glass cutter and score-and-snap rather than a tile saw wherever you can, as the narrow section chips easily. Mitre external corners for the neatest result, and keep any factory-finished edge facing outward where it will be seen.

How many trim pieces will I need?

Each piece measures 100 x 100 x 8mm, and trims are counted by length rather than by area.

Measure the total run you need to finish in metres, divide by the length of one piece, and add around 10% for cuts and the occasional breakage. Remember to allow an extra piece for each external corner or return.

Send us your measurements or a quick sketch and we will work the quantity out for you. We always recommend ordering trims at the same time as your main tiles so they come from the same batch.
