Product story
A Night Piece for the Floor
One star sits at the middle of every Mezzo Nocturne tile, a 200mm matt porcelain square supplied direct from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
A nocturne is written for the evening, and this design has some of that quality. A single star holds the centre of each square in grey on white, and repeated across a floor the stars fall into a regular constellation rather than a busy allover pattern. It is a design that settles down under artificial light instead of fighting it.
Each piece is 200 x 200 x 8mm porcelain with a matt face and straight cut edges. Twenty-five tiles occupy a square metre. The supplier boxes nine at a time. The approved list covers damp and dry wall positions, floors kept dry, and wet floors under footwear.

For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.
When your order arrives
Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Returns
To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

Installation & Care Tips
Installation & care
- Adhesive & Grout: A flexible porcelain adhesive is required. Grout choice matters here: a joint close in tone to the white ground keeps the stars floating, while a dark joint pins each one into its own box.
- Layout: Space the tiles evenly and the stars will form a regular grid. If your room is noticeably out of square, centre the pattern rather than starting from a wall.
- Cleaning: Wash with warm water and a pH-neutral product. Acidic limescale removers must be kept off the glaze. The wet floor rating covers shod use, not barefoot wet areas.

Once an order has been placed, goods that are in stock can normally be dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
