Ridged Earthen Clay: Levante Ridge Clay

An earthen terracotta-clay ceramic wall tile with a finely ridged relief — Levante Ridge Clay from Hyperion Tiles, your official Fired Earth stockist.

Levante Ridge lends the grounded terracotta-clay of Clay a fine, linear relief. The crisp horizontal ridges add a fluted, tailored rhythm while keeping the warm, earthy character that makes Clay so inviting.

Crafted in glazed ceramic with a textured matt face and a slightly deeper 10.5mm body, Ridge is designed for interior walls. It wipes clean, never needs sealing, and layers with the plain and folded Fold Clay tiles to build warmth and depth.

Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

Where can I use Fired Earth Levante tiles?

Levante is a glazed ceramic wall tile designed for interior walls. It is a beautiful choice for kitchen splashbacks, bathroom and shower walls, cloakrooms and feature walls. It is not rated for use on floors or in exterior settings.

What is the difference between the Levante plain, Fold and Ridge tiles?

Levante comes in three textures that share the same four colourways. The plain tile has a smooth face, Fold has a soft folded relief and Ridge has a fine linear ridged relief. Mix and match the textures within a single colour, or across colours, to create depth and rhythm across a wall.

Do Levante tiles need sealing?

No. Levante is a glazed ceramic tile, so it does not require sealing. Simply wipe clean with warm water and a mild cleaner. We recommend a suitable grout for the setting and a flexible tile adhesive.

How are Levante tiles sold?

Levante is sold per tile. Each tile measures 20 x 5cm, so 100 tiles cover approximately one square metre. Our team is happy to help you calculate quantities, including an allowance for cuts and wastage.

Can I order a sample of Levante before buying?

Yes. You can order a full tile sample from this page to see the colour and texture in your own light. As an official Fired Earth stockist, we also offer free cut samples to collect from our Ascot showroom, or posted to your door for a small postage charge.

Installation & care

Adhesive & Grout: Fix with a quality flexible tile adhesive and choose a grout in a soft, tonal shade so the ridges read as one calm surface.
Layout Options: Lay horizontally to run the ridges along the wall, or stack vertically for a fluted, columnar effect. Shuffle tiles from several boxes to blend the natural shade variation, and mix with the plain and Fold faces for extra depth.
Cleaning: Wipe clean with warm water and a mild cleaner. As a glazed ceramic tile, Levante needs no sealing.
