Glaze Around the Angle: Artworks Vintage White Internal Half Tile Wrapping Piece

A 90 x 76mm ceramic piece pre-formed to carry half-tile coursing around an internal corner in one continuous glaze — from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.

Internal corners are where tiling is most often fudged. Two field tiles cut and butted together leave a joint that collects grime, chips easily and never quite lines up. This wrapping piece removes the problem entirely: a single tile that turns the angle with the glaze running unbroken around it.

This is the half-tile version, for walls set out in the 152 x 76mm brick format rather than full squares, so the coursing carries round the corner without a break in the bond. In the same warm Vintage White glaze as the rest of the Artworks range.

Installation & care

  • Adhesive & Grout: Use a white flexible tile adhesive and match the grout to the field tiles so the wrapped corner reads as one surface.
  • Layout: Set the corner out first and work the field coursing away from it in both directions. Count the courses that turn each corner before ordering — these are specialist pieces and awkward to chase mid-job.
  • Cleaning: No sealing required. Warm water and a mild detergent; avoid abrasive pads on the wrapped edge.

Tone, glaze and veining can read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free; sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and is refunded on tile orders over £50 using the code emailed with your sample order. Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Yes. Artworks is specified for both wet and dry wall areas, so it is at home in a shower enclosure, a wet room or around a bath. The background must be sound, dry and properly tanked, and a flexible waterproof adhesive and grout should be used throughout the wet zone.

Will Vintage White match across the different Artworks shapes and mouldings?

Every Artworks piece is finished in the same Vintage White glaze, so field tiles, half tiles, mouldings, skirtings and corners are designed to be used together. As with any glazed ceramic there can be slight variation between production batches, so we recommend ordering everything for a scheme at the same time.

What adhesive and grout do you recommend for Artworks ceramic tiles?

Always use a white flexible tile adhesive — a grey adhesive can shadow through a white glaze and dull it. Allow a 2-3mm joint and choose a white grout for a seamless, luminous wall, or a soft grey to draw the eye to the layout.
