A Black Figure On White, Made To Be Dropped In
Cardigan is a decorated square carrying a black design on Dover White, used to replace a plain tile where a geometric floor needs an accent, and it is sold singly from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
Used one at a time it is punctuation. Used on a regular grid it becomes the pattern itself, and the floor changes character completely. That choice is yours to make on the dry-lay, which is why the tiles are sold loose.
Black on Dover White is a legible pairing at a distance, which matters for a motif only a few inches across. The tile is vitrified ceramic, 9mm deep with a matt face, and permitted on outdoor floors as well as indoor.

When your order arrives
Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Returns
To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

- Setting Out: Work out the accent spacing across the whole room, not one corner, or the rhythm will drift by the far wall.
- Adhesive & Grout: Flexible adhesive, and a grout matched to the white, will let the black figure read cleanly from standing height.
- Sealing & Cleaning: These want sealing, not being glazed, once fully dry; afterwards, neutral cleaning products and nothing else.

Once an order has been placed, goods that are in stock can normally be dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
