Product story

A Cleaner Junction: Artworks Brilliant White Internal Corner Trim 152 x 30mm

A concave 152 x 30mm ceramic trim that softens the inside corner where two tiled walls meet — from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.

A butt joint in an internal corner is where tiling most often looks unresolved — and where grout is hardest to keep clean. This trim replaces it with a gentle glazed cove, giving a continuous, wipeable curve from one wall to the next.

It earns its keep most in a shower enclosure or a wet room, where the coved junction sheds water rather than holding it. Glazed in the same deep Brilliant White as every other Artworks piece, it disappears into the wall it tidies.

Installation & care

Installation & care

  • Adhesive & Grout: Use a white flexible tile adhesive. In a shower, finish the internal angle behind the trim with flexible silicone to allow for movement.
  • Layout: Fix the corner run first and tile out from it in both directions, so cuts are taken at the far ends of each wall rather than in the corner itself.
  • Cleaning: No sealing required. Warm water and a mild detergent; the coved profile is far easier to wipe clean than a square butt joint.
Samples

Tone, glaze and veining can read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free; sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and is refunded on tile orders over £50 using the code emailed with your sample order. Use the sample option in the buying panel, or call our Ascot team on 01344 620211 for help comparing colour, finish and quantities.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

When would I use an internal corner trim?

On an inward-facing corner, where two tiled walls meet. It gives a neat, curved junction instead of a butt joint, which both looks better and is easier to keep clean — particularly useful inside a shower enclosure.

How is the Internal Corner Trim sold?

By the box of 4 pieces, covering 0.6 linear metres at 6.6 pieces per linear metre. Measure the full height of each internal corner, add them together, allow around 10% for cuts, then divide by 0.6.

Can Artworks Brilliant White tiles be used in a shower or wet room?

Yes. Artworks is specified for both wet and dry wall areas, so it is at home in a shower enclosure, a wet room or around a bath. The background must be sound, dry and properly tanked, and a flexible waterproof adhesive and grout should be used throughout the wet zone.

Will Brilliant White match across the different Artworks shapes and mouldings?

Every Artworks piece is finished in the same Brilliant White glaze, so field tiles, half tiles, mouldings, skirtings and corners are designed to be used together. As with any glazed ceramic there can be slight variation between production batches, so we recommend ordering everything for a scheme at the same time.

What adhesive and grout do you recommend for Artworks ceramic tiles?

Always use a white flexible tile adhesive — a grey adhesive can shadow through a white glaze and dull it. Allow a 2-3mm joint and choose a white grout for a seamless, luminous wall, or a soft grey to draw the eye to the layout.
