A hand-painted Moorish decor in glossy glazed ceramic at 10 x 10cm — Andalucia Jerez from Hyperion Tiles, your official Fired Earth stockist.

Named for the sherry city of the south, Jerez carries a graphic, endlessly repeating pattern that feels equally at home in a heritage kitchen or a contemporary cloakroom. Run it wall to wall for drama, or frame it with plain Andalucia tiles and trims.

As a hand-painted tile, each piece carries its own individuality of shade and brushstroke. The durable gloss glaze needs no sealing and stands up beautifully to splashes and steam on internal walls.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

Is this tile suitable for floors?

No, the Andalucia Jerez 10x10cm tile is specifically designed for interior wall applications. Its glossy glaze and compact format make it ideal for splashbacks and feature walls, but it is not recommended for floor traffic.

What is "Crazing"?

Crazing refers to fine hairline cracks that can develop in the glaze of ceramic tiles. In the Andalucia range, this is a deliberate design characteristic to give the tile an authentic, antique, and artisanal appearance.

Do I need to seal these tiles?

No. These are glazed ceramic tiles and do not require sealing. They are non-porous and easy to clean with standard non-acidic household cleaners.

How many tiles are in a square meter?

There are approximately 95–100 tiles per square meter for the 10 x 10cm size, allowing for a standard grout joint.

Can I use these behind a hob?

Yes, they are suitable for kitchen splashbacks, including areas behind a heat source, provided they are installed at least 30cm away from direct heat.

Installation & care

Adhesive & Grout: Fix to a sound, flat wall with a high-quality flexible tile adhesive, and choose a grout tone that lets the hand-painted pattern sing.
Layout Options: These are hand-painted tiles, so shade and brushwork vary from piece to piece — shuffle tiles from several boxes and work to a 3mm joint to celebrate that individuality.
Cleaning: Wipe with warm water and a mild detergent. This glazed ceramic needs no sealing and shrugs off splashes and steam.
