The Romance of a Worn Floor: Abbey Porcelain Square Dove 25 x 25cm
A soft dove-grey porcelain square with meticulously replicated tumbled edges, drawn from the flagstones of Lacock Abbey — from Hyperion Tiles, your official Ca' Pietra stockist.
Part of the National Trust Tile Collection, Abbey captures the quiet romance of a floor worn smooth by centuries of use. Dove is the cooler of the two squares — a muted, chalky grey with a subtly textured surface and rounded, tumbled edges that soften the whole floor.
Underneath the aged looks sits vitrified porcelain: frost resistant, R10 underfoot, rated for domestic exterior floors as well as interior walls and floors, and needing no sealing. Set it against the Ivory square for a proper heritage chequerboard.

⚠ Installation & Care Tips
- Adhesive & Grout: Use a white flexible adhesive with a soft, tonal grout. Because the edges are tumbled, allow a slightly wider 3mm joint so the rounded arrises sit comfortably against one another.
- Layout: Shuffle from several boxes as you lay so the tonal variation distributes naturally. For a chequerboard with Ivory, set out from the centre of the room so the pattern stays symmetrical.
- Cleaning: No sealing required. Sweep and mop with warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner; the vitrified body will not stain or absorb frost.

Access Issues For Large Pallet Deliveries
Our delivery drivers may be prevented from delivering your order by the following:
• Low hanging trees and bridges.
• Narrow roads, gateways, or cars on either side of the road.
• No turning point for the delivery vehicle.
• Unfinished tracks and roads.
• Lack of solid and flat surface to unload.
• Gravel driveways.
If access issues are not advised and/or delivery cannot be made due to unattendance at delivery, a re-delivery charge may be applied.
Checking Orders
Check your delivery as soon as it arrives!
Once the goods are unloaded, they become the responsibility of the receiver.
If you notice any issues with your order, please contact us within three working days so we can resolve the problem quickly and efficiently. Prompt reporting helps us ensure your satisfaction with our products and services.

Returns are accepted only for complete orders; partial orders cannot be accepted. To begin a return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your delivery.

You may return your items within 14 days of receiving or collecting your delivery. Please note that a restocking fee of 20% to 30% will apply, depending on the specific terms of the product range. For further details, feel free to contact us.

Shipping Information
Once an order has been placed goods that are in stock, can normally be dispatched for delivery within 3-5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
