An equilateral triangle does not belong to the square grid at all. Six of them close into a hexagon, and that single fact opens a family of layouts the right-angled pieces cannot reach. Ten shades are available from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
Because every side is the same length, these triangles rotate freely against one another. Arrange six around a point and a hexagon appears, in one shade or six; arrange them in alternating rows and you get the banded zigzag familiar from later Victorian work; combine two shades and the floor reads as a field of tumbling three-dimensional blocks.
The triangle is 9mm thick, pressed in vitrified ceramic whose shade is fired through the entire section, with no glaze laid over it. Its matt surface should be sealed after the floor is laid, and it is rated for both interior and exterior floors.

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Once an order has been placed, goods that are in stock can normally be dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
