Mapei Super Flexible S1 Tile Adhesive

Is a versatile, cement-based adhesive designed for high-strength, high-grab applications on both walls and floors. Conforming to UKCA and CE EN 12004 as a C2TES1 adhesive, it's a reliable choice for professional and DIY projects. This flexible tile adhesive boasts an impressive 8-hour pot life, a 30-minute open time, and a 60-minute adjustment time, giving you plenty of time to get the perfect finish. It's also frost-proof and resistant to weathering, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in thicknesses up to 15mm.

Where can you use Mapei Super Flexible S1 Tile Adhesive?

This versatile adhesive is ideal for a wide range of interior and exterior tiling projects:

Wet Areas: Swimming pools, pool surrounds, bathrooms, kitchens, and shower blocks.
Living Spaces: Conservatories, balconies, and terraces.
Commercial Properties: Offices, public buildings, and other high-traffic areas.

Suitable Surfaces & Tiles:

You can confidently use this adhesive for fixing a variety of tile types, including:

Porcelain, ceramic, and vitrified tiles and mosaics
Natural stone tiles (that are not sensitive to moisture or discolouration)
Quarry tiles and brick slips

It can be applied to many common substrates, such as:

Gypsum plaster and plasterboard
Cement-based tile backer boards
Cement and sand renders
Concrete and cement screeds
Calcium sulphate screeds (when properly prepared)
Walls with well-adhered paint
Floors with underfloor heating systems (both electric and water-based)

When should you not use this adhesive?

Mapei Super Flexible S1 is not suitable for:

Tiling onto floorboards or chipboard.
Installing synthetic stone or natural stone that is prone to staining from moisture.

Delivery And Returns

Access Issues For Large Pallet Deliveries

Our delivery drivers may be prevented from delivering your order by the following:

• Low hanging trees and bridges.

• Narrow roads, gateways, or cars on either side of the road.

• No turning point for the delivery vehicle.

• Unfinished tracks and roads.

• Lack of solid and flat surface to unload.

• Gravel driveways.

If access issues are not advised and/or delivery cannot be made due to unattendance at delivery, a re-delivery charge may be applied.

Checking Orders

Check your delivery as soon as it arrives!

Once the goods are unloaded, they become the responsibility of the receiver.
