A sand-beige stone-effect porcelain in an expansive 75 x 75cm format — the Borneo Sand Matt from Hyperion Tiles.

Borneo Sand Matt brings the warm, sun-washed tones of natural stone to a large-format porcelain square. The matt surface shifts softly between pale beige and biscuit across a generous face, giving floors and walls an inviting, grounded warmth.

Made in glazed porcelain with rectified edges, it is frostproof and rated F4 for heavy domestic floors — equally at home across a kitchen floor, a bathroom, a hallway or a sheltered outdoor terrace.

Adhesive & Grout: Use a high-quality flexible adhesive and grout suitable for large-format porcelain. Outdoors, specify a frost-resistant exterior-grade system throughout.
Layout Options: Lay in a stacked or ashlar pattern to show off the large square, shuffling tiles from several packs to blend the V2 shade variation.
Cleaning: Sweep and mop with warm water and a mild cleaner. Glazed porcelain needs no sealing and resists staining and frost.

Tone, glaze and veining can read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free; sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and is refunded on tile orders over £50 using the code emailed with your sample order. Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Borneo Sand Matt is sold by the pack of 2 large 75 x 75cm tiles, with each pack covering 1.12m2 — around 1.8 tiles per square metre. We recommend adding 10% for cuts and wastage, which takes you to roughly 2 tiles per m2, and our Ascot team is happy to check your quantities for you.

Can Borneo Sand Matt be used outdoors?

Yes. Borneo Sand Matt is frostproof and rated F4 for heavy domestic floor traffic, suitable for internal walls, internal floors and external walls. It is ideal for outdoor walls; for a ground-level patio our Ascot team can confirm the right build-up for your project.
