Mosaic Movement: Austral Blanco Mosaic 30 x 30cm

A mesh-backed white stone-effect porcelain mosaic on a 30 x 30cm sheet — Austral Blanco Mosaic from Hyperion Tiles.

Austral Blanco Mosaic breaks the soft blanco-white stone effect into neat 5 x 5cm squares, the fine grid of grout lines catching the light and adding rhythm to a shower niche, splashback or feature panel. Each sheet is mesh-backed for a quick, accurate set.

Made in glazed porcelain with a matt finish, it is frostproof and rated F4 for heavy domestic floor traffic — a natural companion to the larger Austral field tiles across walls, floors and sheltered external walls.

Installation & care

Adhesive & Grout: Use a white flexible adhesive and a fine grout suitable for mosaics. Outdoors, specify a frost-resistant exterior-grade system throughout.
Layout Options: Butt sheets carefully so the joint between them matches the internal chip spacing for a seamless field.
Cleaning: Sweep and mop with warm water and a mild cleaner. Glazed porcelain needs no sealing and resists staining and frost.

Tone, glaze and veining can read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free; sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and is refunded on tile orders over £50 using the code emailed with your sample order. Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Austral Blanco Mosaic is supplied as 30 x 30cm mesh-backed sheets, sold by the box of 6 sheets covering 0.54m². You need around 11 sheets to cover one square metre; adding 10% for cuts, allow about 12 sheets — roughly two boxes — per square metre. Our Ascot team can confirm exact quantities once you have your measurements.

Can Austral Blanco Mosaic be used outdoors?

Yes. Austral Blanco Mosaic is fully frostproof and rated for external walls as well as internal walls and floors, so these porcelain mosaics work beautifully on a garden wall or sheltered outdoor feature. For flooring outdoors we would recommend confirming slip requirements with our team first.

How do I clean and maintain Austral porcelain tiles?

Austral porcelain mosaics are easy to keep looking their best and never need sealing. Sweep or vacuum first, then mop with warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner, paying a little extra attention to the grout lines between the chips. Avoid harsh acids and abrasive pads, and a soft brush will keep the grout fresh.
