Soft, Sunlit Stone: Austral Blanco 32 x 62.5cm

A gently weathered white stone-effect porcelain in a wonderfully wearable 32 x 62.5cm format — Austral Blanco from Hyperion Tiles.

Austral Blanco captures the quiet warmth of sun-bleached natural stone, its blanco-white ground washed with the faintest mineral movement so no two tiles read exactly alike. The result is a calm, light-filled surface that opens up a room and lets other materials breathe.

Made in glazed porcelain with a soft matt finish, it is frostproof and rated F4 for heavy domestic floor traffic — as assured underfoot in a busy kitchen as it is on a bathroom wall or a sheltered external elevation.

Adhesive & Grout: Use a high-quality flexible adhesive and grout suitable for porcelain. Outdoors, specify a frost-resistant exterior-grade system throughout.
Layout Options: Shuffle tiles from several boxes as you set out to make the most of the natural V2 shade variation.
Cleaning: Sweep and mop with warm water and a mild cleaner. Glazed porcelain needs no sealing and resists staining and frost.

Tone, glaze and veining can read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free; sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and is refunded on tile orders over £50 using the code emailed with your sample order. Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

How many Austral tiles do I need per square metre?

Austral Blanco is sold by the box of 5 tiles, with each box covering exactly 1m² (5 tiles per square metre). We always recommend adding around 10% for cuts and wastage, so for most rooms allow roughly six tiles — a little over one box — per square metre. Our Ascot team is happy to check your measurements and confirm quantities before you order.

Can Austral Blanco be used outdoors?

Yes. Austral Blanco is fully frostproof and rated for external walls, so it is well suited to garden walls, façades and covered outdoor areas, as well as internal walls and floors. As the range is rated for internal floors and external walls rather than external floors, we would suggest speaking to our team about slip requirements before using it underfoot outdoors.

How do I clean and maintain Austral porcelain tiles?

Austral porcelain tiles are beautifully low-maintenance. The glazed, impervious surface never needs sealing — simply sweep or vacuum away any grit, then mop with warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid harsh acids and abrasive pads, and wipe up spills promptly to keep the natural stone-effect finish looking its best for years.

Can I order a sample of Austral Blanco?
