Product story

Soft, Sunlit Stone: Erding Pearl 45 x 90cm

A pale, stone-effect porcelain in a refined 45 x 90cm format — the Erding Pearl from Hyperion Tiles.

Erding Pearl captures the quiet warmth of natural limestone, its pale greige surface washed with gentle tonal movement that drifts softly from one tile to the next. The rectified edges draw a crisp, near-seamless join, while the elongated format brings a calm sense of space to walls and floors alike.

Made in glazed porcelain with a naturally matt surface, it is frostproof and rated F4 for domestic floors with heavy traffic — equally assured across a busy kitchen floor, a serene bathroom, or a sheltered external wall.

Installation & care

Installation & care

  • Adhesive & Grout: Use a high-quality flexible adhesive and grout suitable for large-format porcelain. Outdoors, specify a frost-resistant exterior-grade system throughout.
  • Layout Options: Lay in a stacked or ashlar pattern to show off the elongated format, and shuffle tiles from several boxes to make the most of the V2 shade variation.
  • Cleaning: Sweep and mop with warm water and a mild cleaner. Glazed porcelain needs no sealing and resists staining and frost.
Samples

Tone, glaze and veining can read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free; sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and is refunded on tile orders over £50 using the code emailed with your sample order. Use the sample option in the buying panel, or call our Ascot team on 01344 620211 for help comparing colour, finish and quantities.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

How many Erding Pearl 45 x 90cm tiles do I need per square metre?

Erding Pearl is sold by the box. Each box contains 3 tiles and covers 1.21m², which works out at roughly 2.48 tiles per square metre. We recommend ordering around 10% extra to allow for cuts and wastage, and to keep a spare tile for any future repairs.

Can Erding Pearl be used on floors?

Yes. Erding Pearl is a frostproof glazed porcelain tile suitable for internal floors and walls as well as external walls. It carries an F4 wear rating for heavy domestic floor traffic, and as a porcelain tile it is fully compatible with underfloor heating.

How do I clean and maintain Erding porcelain tiles?

Erding porcelain tiles are hard-wearing and easy to care for. Sweep or vacuum loose dirt, then clean with warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner, avoiding abrasive pads and harsh acidic products. Wipe up spills promptly and keep grout lines clean. As a glazed porcelain, the surface is non-porous and requires no sealing.

Can I order a sample of Erding Pearl?

Yes. Free cut samples are available to collect from the Hyperion Tiles showroom at 67 High Street, Ascot, or we can post one to you for a small postage charge. To arrange a sample or speak with our team, call 01344 620211.
