Dover White is not a brilliant white. It carries a faint warmth that keeps the contrast with Black from turning clinical, and that warmth is exactly why the pairing has survived a century and a half of hallways. Laid on the diagonal, the two colours pull the eye along a corridor rather than across it.
Because both colours are vitrified through the body of the tile rather than printed on a glaze, the chequerboard reads the same on day one and in year twenty. Rated for exterior use as much as interior, the 9mm tile lets one scheme start at the front gate and finish at the foot of the stairs.

For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.
Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Once an order has been placed, goods that are in stock can normally be dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
