- Sealing is Mandatory: Limestone is porous. You must seal these tiles before and after grouting with a quality impregnator (e.g., Lithofin MN Stain Stop). For outdoors, ensure the sealer is suitable for external use.
- Grouting: Due to the surface pits and tumbled edges, we recommend a wide grout joint (approx 5mm). Be careful to clean off excess grout immediately to prevent it from setting in the texture.
- Adhesive: Always use a white flexible adhesive suitable for natural stone (e.g., Keraquick White) to prevent staining from the back.
- Natural Variation: This tile is designed to look old. Expect significant variation in texture, pits, and tone. Always mix tiles from different boxes for a balanced "heritage" look.

Access Issues For Large Pallet Deliveries
Our delivery drivers may be prevented from delivering your order by the following:
• Low hanging trees and bridges.
• Narrow roads, gateways, or cars on either side of the road.
• No turning point for the delivery vehicle.
• Unfinished tracks and roads.
• Lack of solid and flat surface to unload.
• Gravel driveways.
If access issues are not advised and/or delivery cannot be made due to unattendance at delivery, a re-delivery charge may be applied.

Once an order has been placed goods that are in stock, can normally be dispatched for delivery within 3-5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered.
