Axis Sand 60 x 120cm is sold per tile, with 1.39 tiles covering 1m2 (each tile is 0.72m2). We would always recommend ordering around 10 per cent extra for cuts and wastage.

Can Axis Sand be used outdoors and in wet rooms?

Yes. Axis Sand is a rectified matt porcelain rated R10 for slip resistance and is frostproof, making it suitable for internal and external walls and floors, wet rooms and showers, and it is compatible with underfloor heating.

Does Axis Sand porcelain need sealing?

No. Axis is a fully vitrified porcelain and needs no sealing. Simply wipe with warm water and a mild, pH-neutral cleaner; avoid abrasive or acidic products.

⚠ Installation & Care Tips

Adhesive & Grout: Large-format tiles need a solid-bed fix with an S1 flexible adhesive and back-buttering. Use a grout in a soft, tonal shade; for wet and external areas specify a frost-resistant, exterior-grade system throughout.
Layout Options: Lay with a 3mm joint and no more than a third offset on brick-bond to keep large tiles flat. Shuffle from several boxes to blend the natural shade variation.
Cleaning: Sweep and mop with warm water and a mild cleaner. Glazed porcelain needs no sealing and shrugs off splashes, steam and frost.
