The Perfect Baseboard Finish
If you are looking for ways to polish a tiled space to absolute perfection, the Original Style Artisan Skirting is the ultimate solution. Serving as a beautifully proportioned 150mm high decorative baseboard, it provides a seamless and dramatic transition between your floor and the tiled wall above. It is the perfect choice for anchoring your wall tiling with an undeniable sense of heritage charm and bespoke craftsmanship.
English Heritage Inspiration
The Artisan collection is specifically designed for those who wish to infuse their home with the tranquil, grounded atmosphere of the English countryside and historic interiors. The Skirting tiles are available in the exact same heritage colour palette as the main field and half tiles. You can perfectly colour-match your trim for a unified aesthetic, or playfully mix contrasting tones to create a striking, defined base border.
Handcrafted Appeal
While these skirting mouldings offer the reliability of modern manufacturing, they brilliantly capture the charming imperfections of authentic handcrafted ceramics. The Artisan range evolved from the historic process of refining raw clay, pouring, pressing, moulding, and shaping. Every single piece is carefully crafted, resulting in a luminous gloss glaze with a beautiful depth of colour that bounces light effortlessly around the smooth, classic moulded profile.

Installation & Care Tips
To achieve the best possible finish with your glossy mouldings, we strongly recommend unpacking and blending pieces prior to fixing to ensure the glaze variations flow beautifully across your design. While standard gloss tiles typically do not require sealing upon installation, it is important to note that the Winchester Artisan glazes can naturally craze (develop fine hairline cracks) over time due to the handcrafted nature of the ceramic body. If crazing occurs, you must apply a crackle glaze impregnator to protect the tile. For ongoing maintenance, simply wipe the skirting down regularly with a soft cloth and a mild, pH-neutral cleaner.
