While standard gloss tiles typically do not require sealing upon installation, it is important to note that the Winchester glazes can naturally craze (develop fine hairline cracks) over time due to the handcrafted nature of the ceramic body. If crazing occurs, you must apply a crackle glaze impregnator to protect the tile. For ongoing maintenance, simply wipe the tile down regularly with a soft cloth and a mild, pH-neutral cleaner.
