⚠️ Installation & Care Tips
- Sealing is Essential: Quarry tiles are porous. They must be sealed to protect against staining. Boiled Linseed Oil is traditionally used to darken the clay to a rich black-brown, but modern stone impregnators (like Lithofin MN Stain Stop) also work well.
- Grout Width: A wider grout joint of **6mm** is recommended to accommodate the traditional manufacturing tolerances of quarry tiles.
- Grout Colour: We recommend a **Dark Grey** or **Black** grout to keep the focus on the tile and make cleaning easier.
- Colour Note: These tiles are made from a deep brown clay to create an "earthy toned black." They are not a jet black. We strongly recommend ordering a sample to see the true colour.

Access Issues For Large Pallet Deliveries
Our delivery drivers may be prevented from delivering your order by the following:
• Low hanging trees and bridges.
• Narrow roads, gateways, or cars on either side of the road.
• No turning point for the delivery vehicle.
• Unfinished tracks and roads.
• Lack of solid and flat surface to unload.
• Gravel driveways.
If access issues are not advised and/or delivery cannot be made due to unattendance at delivery, a re-delivery charge may be applied.
Checking Orders

Once the goods are unloaded, they become the responsibility of the receiver.

Shipping Information
Once an order has been placed goods that are in stock, can normally be dispatched for delivery within 3-5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
