⚠️ Important Installation Advice
- Variable Thickness: Ardosia tiles vary in thickness (5mm - 12mm) to enhance their rustic look. Your tiler will need to "back butter" the tiles or use a thicker adhesive bed to ensure a perfectly level floor surface.
- Sealing is Essential: As a natural stone, slate is porous. It must be sealed upon installation (before grouting) and resealed periodically to protect it from stains and water ingress. We recommend a high-quality slate sealer.
- Colour Blending: Because the variation is "Extreme," do not install straight from one box. Open multiple boxes and mix the tiles (dry lay) before fixing to ensure an even distribution of the gold and black tones across the room.

Access Issues For Large Pallet Deliveries
Our delivery drivers may be prevented from delivering your order by the following:
• Low hanging trees and bridges.
• Narrow roads, gateways, or cars on either side of the road.
• No turning point for the delivery vehicle.
• Unfinished tracks and roads.
• Lack of solid and flat surface to unload.
• Gravel driveways.
If access issues are not advised and/or delivery cannot be made due to unattendance at delivery, a re-delivery charge may be applied.
Checking Orders

Once the goods are unloaded, they become the responsibility of the receiver.

Shipping Information
Once an order has been placed goods that are in stock, can normally be dispatched for delivery within 3-5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
