Eco Prim T Plus is a versatile, eco-friendly acrylic primer designed for interior use. It improves adhesion for smoothing compounds on both absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces, making it an ideal choice for a variety of flooring and wall preparation tasks.

This primer is solvent-free, has low odor, and features a water-based formula with very low VOC (volatile organic compounds) emissions, ensuring a safer and more environmentally friendly application.

How to Use Eco Prim T Plus:

Surface Preparation

For best results, the substrate must be:

• Dry, clean, and structurally sound.
• Free from dust, loose particles, cracks, paint, oil, wax, or rust.
• Free from traces of gypsum or any other materials that could interfere with bonding.
• Protected against rising damp with an effective membrane to prevent moisture issues.

Application

• For Cementitious or Anhydrite Substrates: Dilute Eco Prim T Plus in a 1:2 ratio with water.
• For Ceramic Tiles, Natural Stone, Wood, or Adhesive Residues: Apply the primer undiluted.

Apply using a brush or roller. Once the primer is completely dry, you can proceed to apply a smoothing compound or mortar. Drying time depends on the surface’s absorbency and environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. For best results, apply smoothing compounds within 24 hours of priming.

Pro Tip: When using as a bonding aid on waterproofed surfaces treated with Mapeproof ESM, Mapeproof One Coat, or Mapeproof 1K Turbo, apply Eco Prim T Plus undiluted at least 2 hours but no more than 24 hours after applying the membrane.

Cleaning Up

• While wet, clean Eco Prim T Plus from tools, walls, and floors with water.
• Once dry, remove any residue using alcohol or Pulicol 2000.

Coverage and Storage

• Coverage: 0.10–0.20 kg/m², depending on surface porosity and application method.
• Storage: Keep in original sealed packaging under normal conditions for up to 12 months.
